Mission Statement
The Mas, the Better
In case you don't know, Mas is Spanish for 'more' (and I hope you see the pun). Mas Culture brings up a variety of viewpoints regarding different aspects of popular culture, from literature to music — initiating an interaction with the masses while digging up its controversial nature.
Our Team

Christopher
Chief Editor
Christopher, Mas Culture’s editor-in-chief who anchors the team and looks after the production. As a student of linguistics, he shows enthusiasm in language from time to time. When he is free, he indulges in the world of rhythm games and takes part in its community.
Fun fact:
Despite Christopher’s self-acknowledgement as a man of culture, he barely watches any movies, and never updates his social media accounts.
Harry
Social Media Strategist
A guy who spends one-third of his day phubbing, Harry is the perfect person to promote Mas Culture on every social media possible. Having learned and worked from the business world and the planet of linguistics, he probably knows a little bit of everything.
Some say he is now learning some French to interact with French readers. So who’s going to tell him that “Mas” is Spanish?
Vivian
Creative Officer
As a member of the Creative Team, Vivian works closely with Crystal for the design of our Mas Culture blog. But where does her creativity come from? She is a sushiholic and recently addicted to playing squash and volleyball. The rich taste of sushi and her energetic life definitely stimulate her creative mind!
Crystal
Creative Officer
A sweet tooth. Heavily addicted to bubble tea. Crystal is either drinking bubble tea or on the way to getting bubble tea.
Being a member of the Creative Team, she cooperates with Vivian to take care of the design of the Mas Culture website. She loves picking on minor mistakes to ensure consistency and readability before tight deadlines.
Catherine
Production Officer
Being a member of Mas Culture’s production team, Catherine oversees the production schedule, and communicate with other departments in order to organize the production schedule.
As a cultural heritage student, she is currently studying Chinese and Japanese paintings. She is also a K-Pop and corgi enthusiast, so if you got some lovely corgi photos, please send them to her!
